Statement From The Piano Works About The COVID-19 Crisis
We know you can’t come to us, let us come to you! The Show Must Go On.
The Piano Works Farringdon and West End have made the difficult decision on Monday, 16th March to close until further government advice is given.
In this bleak time, what better way to rally our community by doing what we do best, this Friday and Saturday evening.
At this time when you’re staying at home, turn the music up and escape with 4 hours of non-stop live music streaming into your living room.
Join The Piano Works on tour from wherever you are, bringing much needed good vibes and joy to your weekend! Tune in via the Piano Works Farringdon Facebook page from 8pm to midnight to enjoy non-stop live music. Dance like nobody’s watching and request your favourite songs via Facebook for the band to perform! 100% of all donations will go to our musicians.
Alan Lorrimer, founder of The Piano Works says,
“We are closing our doors, but are still committed to supporting our musicians through these tough times and providing our guests with the Piano Works experience they know and love.
We also feel a great responsibility, as part of London’s live music community and history, to make every effort to continue supporting our amazing performers.
The music industry in London is not only important to our society but also the source of employment for tens of thousands of artist-performers, staff, and suppliers.
London has survived much worse threats - our community spirit, resilience and sense of humour have always turned adversity into triumph.”
So get excited for the weekend again, and tune in to The Piano Works live steam.
